The OMNIScanner
from Microtest will test all Categories of data cable including Cat. 3,
Cat. 5 (100 MHz), Cat. 5 Enhanced (150 MHz), and Cat. 7 cable (300 MHz).
Tests include: S - Band Advanced Diagnostics, TDNXT, NEXT, ELFEXT,
RETURN LOSS, and LENGTH of run. The OMNIScanner is the only cable
certification device capable of certifying GigaBit ethernet. The
OMNIFiber adapter will test all fiber cables, Singlemode or Multimode at
850 and 1300 nm, tests 2 fibers at once, and stores up to 1000 autotests.
